PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Tonight I am offering you a truly amazing vintage ring which features a wonderful and Very Unusual Unknown Sigil Design.
Although I have checked, I cannot see a jeweler's mark inside the ring's band, which I think has been gold plated (so it may wear away over time). For the purposes of accuracy I am going to say that the base metal of the ring should be considered unknown.
This absolutely awesome ring is in excellent condition and is approx size 11, it is suitable for anyone, and can be worn or carried whichever you prefer.
A lovely addition for your own personal jewelry collection.

THIS IS MY FINAL OFFERING FROM A SPECIAL PARANORMAL COLLECTION...
A few months ago I did something which is very unusual for me - I purchased a "Mystery Box" of paranormal items from an estate in Dubai. What is so unusual about this is that I bought everything sight unseen and without having any additional information about the items. One of my "darker" spirits literally pleaded with me to get this box. Turns out that it is full of powerful items, and many entities - some of which are looking for new vessels and/or owners.
This listing is for one of those spirits...
The main difference between this spirit and the earlier ones I sold is that they were mostly dark spirits and She is of the purest white light!
BACKGROUND ABOUT THE CITY OF JULFAR
...
One of the most famous lost cities of Arabia – tantalizingly so because historians have known it existed from written records but simply could not find it – is the medieval city of Julfar. Home to the legendary Arabian seafarer Ahmed ibn Majid, as well as allegedly to the fictional Sindbad the Sailor, Julfar thrived for a thousand years before falling into ruin and disappearing from human memory for almost two centuries. Unlike other desert cities, Julfar was a thriving port, in fact the hub of southern Gulf Arabic trade in the Middle Ages.
Julfar was known to be somewhere on the Persian Gulf coast north of Dubai, but the actual site was only found by archaeologists in the 1960s. The earliest signs of settlement found on the site date from the 6th century, by which time its inhabitants were already trading as far afield as India and the Far East on a routine basis.
The 10th to 14th centuries were a golden age for Julfar and for long-distance Arab trading and seafaring, with Arab navigators routinely traveling halfway around the world. Arabs had sailed into European waters long before Europeans succeeded in navigating through the Indian Ocean and into the Persian Gulf, for instance. As the main base for these voyages and trade, Julfar was the largest and most important city in the southern Gulf for over a thousand years. Arab merchants routinely made the mammoth eighteen-month sea voyage as far as China, and traded almost everything imaginable.
Such a valuable commercial center attracted constant attention from rival powers though. The Portuguese took control in the 16th century, by which time Julfar was a substantial city of around 70,000 people. A century later the Persians seized it, only to lose it in 1750 to the Qawasim tribe from Sharjah who established themselves next-door at Ras al-Khaimah, which they continue to rule to this day, leaving the old Julfar to gradually decay until its ruins became forgotten amongst the coastal sand dunes. Today most of Julfar in all likelihood remains still hidden beneath the sprawling dunes north of Ras al-Khaimah.

Just like the earlier spirits I sold from this collection - One of the first things She did was to abandon the old and rather decrepit vessel She was in and "launch" herself into the ring I have described above. Apparently the sigil means something to her, but she has not explained what it is to me.
Then She decided to tell me a little about herself. Originally conjured and bound in the City of Julfar over 5,500 years ago!
She has only worked for a limited number of people in the past, and numerous "secret" societies and organizations.
She is strong enough to attract the attention of those few people who She would like as a potential owner.
She has an extensive knowledge of magickal arts and sciences, both white and black, and the secret counsel of many "secret" magical societies.
She will work however her owner desires, but admits that She prefers to use the light arts, and will not work any dark magic unless commanded to do so, and then she would remove herself from this ring and return to the astral realm, possibly forever!

RETURNS:
I will provide either an item exchange or a monetary refund (at my discretion) for gross misrepresentation of the actual physical item described in the original listing but WILL NOT exchange or refund for buyer's remorse (when the actual physical item delivered to you is as described in the listing, but you no longer want it regardless of the reason).

FINALLY:
I am not a jeweler or gemologist, some of my items have jewelers stamps or marks on them and these are detailed in the listing, I use a standard US ring gauge for sizing. Some of the vessels I list have genuine gemstones and are made from precious metal, others are costume jewelry which may contain crystals or genuine gemstones, unfortunately many of these items do not have any jeweler stamps that I can see, so the base metal is of unknown composition. Each and every vessel is described to the best of my ability and knowledge.
Please remember that these rings need to be treated with care! They should not be submerged in water for any length of time, or worn while cleaning or gardening etc., this can lead to discoloration of the base metal(s) and the loss of gemstones. Even chemicals from our own body can react with various metals and cause discoloration.
Which really means that vintage jewelry should be treated with just as much care and attention as a valuable engagement ring, diamond bracelet, or any other piece of jewelry.
